Back in June I had the chance to attend a workshop in London for a couple of days, and booked an extra day to revisit the city and some friends.
What I didn’t know was that my day off to wander around would be June 11th, the Queen’s official birthday. The Queen’s actual birth date is April 21st, but in June London lights up, the flags are out, and the people celebrate their Queen and country.
Also managed to visit Borough Market and stroll on the crowded banks of the Thames, eat a delicious tonkotsu ramen at Bone Daddies and some chicken pie in Old Spitalfields Market, and buy some gifts for Lena and baby L while watching the Red Arrows’ squadron go by.
