Was never in Amsterdam during winter before, nor did I think I’d ever be. Honestly, why would anyone travel during the winter? At any rate, the temperatures really caught me by surprise, it’s been crazy cool here in Mokum.
Fortunately, we have bikes to ride and tasty food to keep us warm (the extra pair of gloves doesn’t hurt either).
Actually, I’m glad we came during the winter: the city feels different, there’s almost no tourists around and one can more easily blend in and feel the real vibe of the city. Oh, and Amsterdam looks quite charming when it’s snowing.
