Panorâmico de Monsanto

Panorâmico de Monsanto opened as restaurant in 1968 and, after its foreclosure, served as bingo, disco, office space and warehouse throughout the years.

Designed by Chaves da Costa, it holds tiles created by Querubim Lapa and Manuela Madureira, original carpets and surrounding structures, despite being abandoned for more than a decade.

It’s still, however, to this day, the most privileged view over Lisbon.
