Sintra is a small village just 30 minutes from home and despite the flocks of people that visit during the weekend, it has a large enough forest area around that you can relax and take in the view. Makes it the perfect spot to hike while bathing our eyes in some majorly beautiful scenery from up above.
Our plan was to make it across to a popular hiking spot but the weather in previous weeks left the secondary roads unsafe to drive on, to say the least, so we parked the vehicle and hiked through a random path we found. Sintra is full of surprises, so any path is a safe bet. Unless you go after the sun has set. Akira enjoyed the walk the most and, as usual, was tired for a full day after that.
